Susun Weed interviews author and clairvoyant Sylvia Bucek |

Sylvia Bucek is a free spirit, in love with Life. She got her call at an early age and learned that we commune with the Divine through our conscious communion with Nature. Her earliest memories recall her deep love of Nature and appreciation for all things natural, including those that would otherwise be termed supernatural. As a child she grew up in a true-to-life wonderland and thought everyone else did, too. She believed it was common knowledge that animals communicate with us and that we commune with flowers and trees and otherworldly realms. At age ten she received a vision of a magical and mysterious journey to a new dimension of life on Earth. Down the road she experienced this vision through a Near Death Experience and she came back from the NDE knowing that the human is essentially an immortal being on a spectacular journey to Heaven on Earth. This led to the creation of her book, entitled, Flight Manual, about reconnecting to one’s natural and angelic roots In 2009 she published one hundred copies under her own imprint, just to discover how best to market the book. Instead, she learned that readers found it difficult (or impossible) to understand, as though it were a tome of symbols that only certain initiates could grasp. Here it should be mentioned that Flight Manual introduces a non-human character who perhaps knows more about today’s changing times than we do. The storyteller is a fuzzy caterpillar named Magic who is getting ready to morph into a multi-dimensional being and sets out to locate the cocoon stage that opens onto the cosmos. Everyone is talking about it these days, but does anyone know where it is? So the book asks the reader to remember that our DNA is already encoded with our human metamorphosis, even though the journey involves dying and waking up to our immortal Soul. Like the caterpillar, one needs only to stay connected to the conscious, cosmic life force that pervades all things from the smallest micro level to the macrocosmic whole. Then in the summer of 2010 Sylvia experienced an extraordinary event, like a quantum leap into a new dimension. She came back thinking that she must have experienced a drill, like a “test flight” as we head towards the year 2012. The only scene she could compare it with was Jody Foster’s trip to a heavenly dimension in the movie, Contact. Similarly, at first she felt too overawed to talk about it but, although she could not explain her ‘flight’ it nevertheless felt as though she must record it in an ‘Afterword’ which read like this: On July 11, 2010 (during a collective meditation and soul communion with a Global Meditation Focus Group)* out of the blue I was momentarily transported to an unspeakably beautiful dimension that appeared to be a new kind of Earth. At first I thought I had somehow been beamed into Heaven…I seemed to be standing in crystal clear water beneath a cerulean sky and was aware of being an immortal child, but I was also aware of being an adult who was entering a state of consciousness that is one with its greater self. I wondered if I had died. No sooner did the thought come to mind, than I saw/recalled that the world, as I had known it, was fading like a dream and that I was a human Soul coming into Being. Gradually she remembered that she had foreseen the event three decades ago during her actual Near Death Experience that had opened her mind to the inner kingdom permeating all life and she had realized that her death was nothing more than the withdrawal of consciousness from the lower mind’s perception of reality, whereas her Higher Self was showing her a worldview based on eternal life that one is always free to return to. Though “return” is perhaps a misnomer if one were to embrace the idea of being a thought seed from the Mind of God - a soul growing up in the world and blossoming into consciousness of Heaven on Earth in the beautiful Garden of Eden. Sylvia lives in rural Ontario, Canada, with her cat Heather and surrounding wildlife. In the 1980’s she was a featured columnist in seven weekly newspapers and she also published a quarterly magazine, writing about recreating Eden. More recently she worked as a Spa chef, offering vegan dishes for an animal-free diet. To showcase her vision of a cruelty-free world, she is currently working on a screenplay about a magical place that appears to be an otherworldly realm, yet all it takes to be there is to have a heart.
