Jennifer Evans - Ask anyone who knows her and they’ll tell you she is an energetic and seemingly tireless woman of many strengths; business owner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Crystal Intuitive and nature hobbyist.

Born in the San Francisco Bay area of California, Jennifer has lived and traveled extensively in Europe and the United States. Jennifer’s education has been heavily focused in the Sciences. After earning the U.S. equivalent to an AS in Science while studying in England, she returned to the United States where she studied Marine Science at the University of Miami in Florida.

After a year of illness and setbacks, Jennifer left the University of Miami to explore other career paths. She spent the next few years working in many different fields, exploring many options, while also studying computer science and accounting. As Jennifer sought to find her way in the world, the healing arts were never far from her thoughts. It was during this time a growing interest in crystals and minerals led her to co-found The Other Side Of The Sun, which is now a successful e-commerce business.

Working with the crystals has allowed her passions for the healing arts to flourish, while continuing on a path of self-exploration. Having studied both the physical and metaphysical properties of crystals for many years, Jennifer uses her education to enhance her understanding of crystal healing properties. The transition from believing in scientific proof to believing in her intuition has not always been an easy one, but one that she now happily embraces. Working with the crystals expanded her horizons and allowed her develop her skills as a Crystal Intuitive.

At The Other Side Of The Sun (TOSOTS), Jennifer’s passion as a Crystal Intuitive has allowed her to connect to the individual spirit of each crystal and their healing properties. She cares deeply for crystals, and ensures each is nurtured while they are entrusted to her guardianship. That is precisely why every crystal and mineral is hand-selected and has an individual listing with its own personal reading. For Jennifer crystals are not a commodity, but a spirit to be cherished, respected and honored. She and her partner have been told more than once that their business is more of an adoption agency than a retail establishment.

In her ongoing pursuit of the healing arts, Jennifer became a Reiki Master, having trained in multiple lineages of Usui, Tera Mai and Dolphin Trilogy. She furthered her education and also obtained her license in massage therapy. Massage is truly one of her strong passions which should be a part of every person’s health care regime. She believes massage is a therapy that transcends the physical, having effects on the emotional and spiritual realms too. She combines the concepts of Reiki, Stones and massage into every session; healing mind, body, and spirit. Jennifer offers an array of services throughout the Southwest Florida area including Swedish and therapeutic massage, reflexology, Reiki and crystal therapy.

Jennifer now resides in beautiful Naples, Florida with her wife and business partner, Mary. They share their home, nestled snugly in a secluded pine forest with their four cats and a growing family of peafowl, koi and goldfish. After acquiring their first fish, an unexpected love quickly developed, leading them recently to repurpose their large in ground pool into an environmentally friendly ecosystem where their aquatic friends can thrive. Jennifer and Mary believe in sustainable practices and are currently on working to establish their property as a Certified Wildlife Habitat™.

Jennifer shares her knowledge with others through individual readings of the crystals displayed in her online store and by offering a variety of lectures, workshops and bodywork sessions that combine the healing arts of crystal energy, Reiki and massage. Jennifer also teaches the art of Reiki using the traditional Usui lineage.
