Ida is a licensed MFT, having a wide variety of clinical experience ranging from working with children and adolescents in the schools, to
working with adults in the clinic and private practice setting. She has dealt with issues related to chronic depression, anxiety, childhood trauma,
unemployment, economic difficulties, grief, relationship issues and selfesteem, just to name a few.

Ida is fluent in Farsi and has experience working and living within the Iranian community. With its unique culture and traditions, Ida is knowledgeable about the different challenges that may exist exclusive to the Iranian community. She and another colleague have started the first Family to Family class of NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) educating family members about mental illness.
