Ina Bransome is a DONA international certified Birth and Post-partum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor with a degree in The Psychology of Language and Communication.

She gave birth to Haya in the '70's at home with her partner. For over 30 years she has assisted countless women with their births and with prenatal and postpartum care.

Based on many years of working with newborns, Ina developed BrainKiss®, a unique set of principles which help parents understand and respond to their newborns.

Ina knows newborns are bodily-connected, self aware, capable social beings from birth. This insight is nourished by years of experience and the study of many disciplines: Focusing, the practice of sensing into the body's layered experience and Non-violent Communication, a way of being with others authentically and empathically.

She has organized parent support circles in the practice of Family Councils and offers workshops to expect-ant and new parents on breastfeeding and newborn contentment. She is currently at work on a book and dvd to help people see newborns for who they truly are.
