At the age of three, Lynnet McKenzie heard a tree call her name. Having already been taught that trees do not This tree taught Lynnet to love all beings and to live in the beautiful mystery of our shared planet. At the same time, Lynnet experienced sexual abuse, ridicule, and a judgemental, fundamentalist Christian upbringing. While plants, animals, trees, and spirits spoke to Lynnet on a daily basis, she was also taught that this was insane, false, and not from God.
