Bruce Semon, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified psychiatrist in both Child and Adolescent and Adult psychiatry.

He holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition from University of California, Davis. He received his medical degree (M.D.) from University of Wisconsin, Madison, and did further research work at National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute in Maryland. He received his certifications in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Medical College of Wisconsin.


Dr. Semon has published numerous academic papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has a particular interest in how what people eat affects their health. He has lectured nationally and internationally on how changing diet affects health. Based in Wisconsin, his latest book is Rottenseed! Cottonseed, Alzheimer's and Your Brain. He is also the co-author (with Lori Kornblum) of An Extraordinary Power to Heal, Extraordinary Foods for the Everyday Kitchen, and Feast Without Yeast: 4 Stages to Better Health.
